While our Elgin and Algonquin hospitals do not offer after-hours services, our Dundee veterinarian offers 24 hour emergency vet services seven days a week. Our experienced staff works on call to provide emergency care when your pet needs it most.

If your pet is not a regular patient, we’re more than happy to work with their primary care veterinarian. Detailed reports explain your pet’s condition, test results, medications given, follow-up recommendations and more. Should your pet require specialized care, we can communicate with specialists in the area to find the best option.

Open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year including holidays.

Unfortunately, I recently had to put my cat, Bart, down. I want to commend first, Dr. Kelly Moderhack, for taking such good care of Bart over the years and for her being there for Bart in his last hour. Dr. Kelly provided a very peaceful and tranquil atmosphere for Bart and it was very comforting for us. I also want to commend Dr. Adamo for her excellent bedside manner in giving me the unfortunate news that it was in Bart's best interest to be euthanized. Also, Bonnie, the receptionist, was so compassionate throughout the process and provided a lot of comfort to us. I would never hesitate to bring another pet to Dundee Animal Hospital. Thank you to all of you for being there for us.

Dundee animal hospital is the best vet I've dealt with in 50 years as a pet owner. From the most helpful and knowledgeable front desk, to the kind and caring techs, I trust our pet will get the best care here. The veterinarian docs always have the best care in mind for your pets.
