Dr. Rachel Halter received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with an emphasis on Animal Science/Pre-Veterinary at the University of Findlay and earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine. Her previous veterinary experience includes multiple internships in Ohio and Illinois as an undergrad and as a DVM grad student.
In addition, Dr. Halter spent almost two years at the University of Illinois Wildlife Medical Clinic as a student volunteer during veterinary school.
In her free time, Dr. Halter enjoys spending time with her Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Border Collie and Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever.
