Dr. Aimee Maras joined our team in 1993 after completing her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at Purdue University. She continues to develop her interest in gerontology by collaborating with the Gerald P. Murphy Cancer Foundation’s Center for Exceptional Longevity Studies. Together they study the oldest dogs in the US to better understand the secrets behind cancer resistance and highly successful aging.
Dr. Maras shares her home with her two cats, Arangie and Sissy. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, gardening, home remodeling, and swimming.
