Dr. Leonid Gurevich joined our team as an emergency vet in 2000. His professional work experience began in the USSR following graduation from Vitebsk Veterinary Institute in 1985. Relocating to the United States, Dr. Gurevich attended the University of Missouri where he established his U.S. credentials and became certified through AVMA’s Educational Commission for Foreign Veterinary Graduates (ECFVG). In 1996, Dr. Gurevich completed an internship in small animal emergency and critical care at the Animal Emergency Center in Milwaukee.
Dr. Gurevich has special interests in surgery and emergency care. He also enjoys seeing pets in their home as a part of the mobile vet team.
Dr. Gurevich shares his home with his wife, son, and two daughters; their cats Fusa and Bagira; and their dog, Sch’muzle.
