Tooth or Consequences- Pet Dental Disease Signs

Do you know how to spot dental disease signs & symptoms in your pet(s)? Monitoring your pet’s oral wellness between annual visits is an important part of your role as a pet parent. In addition, knowing what to look for is essential to help keep your pet happy and healthy. Early detection is key when it comes to preventing more serious health issues in the future- it’s not just about your pet’s pearly whites or a case of “dog breath”. If left untreated, dental disease can cause damage to your pet’s internal organs including the kidneys, liver, and heart.

Below are symptoms that something may be brewing in your pet’s mouth and/or under their gum line. These symptoms could indicate early dental disease which could cause potential health issues in the future.
