In 1958, Dr. David McConnell, Veterinarian established Dundee Animal Hospital in East Dundee, IL. We proudly celebrated our 60th anniversary in 2018, and look forward to celebrating many more. In 1999, we remodeled and expanded our pet hospital. Our now-15,000 sq. foot facility houses both a general practice and emergency center, which provides 24/7 urgent care services.

Since 1975, we have remained an AAHA-accredited animal hospital. Only about 15% of all animal hospitals in North America can claim this status. Our veterinarians and vet support team complies with over 900 stringent standards for high-quality care in areas including surgery, emergency services, dentistry, anesthesiology and more.

The staff and veterinarians are great when we have questions and concerns regarding our pets. Our cat Lenny has been going through a lot, and they have always helped in trying to figure out what is wrong and reassuring us that it will get figured out as there are many different routes we can take. Therefore, it puts our mind at ease. They are always quick to respond if we need a call back and they care about our pets just as much as we do.I would recommend Dundee Animal Hospital to anyone as they always put the needs of our cats first.

Dr Kersting was impressive taking care of Churro's first vet visit! He advised us on best practices for training a puppy and gave her a thorough exam. He was kind and courteous, so was everyone in the front office! We will be recommending your office to all our fur-friends!

Dr. Jeremy Larson at Dundee Animal Hospital in Elgin is hands down, the best veterinarian I have ever worked with!! His bedside manner toward our dog and us, his knowledge, thoroughness, timeliness -- its almost ridiculous and hard to believe he's real! 😂 I've heard about him over the years from others who use him as their vet. We had a slight emergency situation and he did not disappoint with his care!The vet techs were also so personable towards us and our dog as well. They make you feel like family.Front desk was friendly and very helpful.Thanks to this wonderful and caring team, we will be switching over to them going forward.Thanks for being so great at what you all do.
