Dr. Kersting joined Dundee Animal Hospital following his graduation from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine in 2000. After growing up in rural Pennsylvania, Dr. Kersting’s love for animals led him to Bucknell University where he completed his undergraduate degree in Biology and Political Science to prepare for veterinary school. Doctor Kersting has many interests in the field, including internal medicine, surgery, and has completed extensive training in ultrasonography.
Sharing his home with his wife Beth, also a veterinarian, and his two children Ryan and Owen, is their dog Gus,the world’s best Labrador, and three cats; Pete, Ben and Woody. In his time off, Dr. Kersting is an avid movie fan and he enjoys playing tennis.
