Dr. Grott works primarily in our Elgin office and has been with Dundee Animal Hospital since 2005.
Dr. Grott completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science and earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at Purdue University in Indiana. She has worked as a veterinarian since 2002.
Raised in Union Mills, Indiana, Dr. Grott’s family owns a farm, where she grew up with sheep, pigs, chickens, lots of cats and always a dog. This is where she gained an understanding of animal health and her desire to help companion animals grew.
Dr. Grott currently plays the saxophone in a community band and she met her husband in college where they both played in the Purdue All American Marching Band. When she’s not working, Dr. Grott and her husband enjoy traveling and spending time with their daughter and senior cat, Jake.
