2 Million Dogs Puppy Up walk on Sunday, November 6th, 2011 at Randall Oaks Park
It began with a promise to raise awareness of canine cancer one mile, one city, and one person at a time. Luke Robinson with his two dogs walked 2000 miles from Austin to Boston to fulfill the promise he made to his dog Malcolm who died from the disease. 2 Million Dogs was formed on the belief that if 2 dogs can walk 2000 miles to bring awareness to cancer surely 2 million dogs can walk 2 miles. This mission benefits the study of canine cancer and comparative oncology.
Dundee Animal Hospital joined in the event and walked with some of our own dogs. It was a fantastic time raising money for a wonderful cause. Thank you to all who joined us and stopped by our table to say hi and pick up some information and goodies for their pets. We look forward to doing it again next year.
